Anchorman

His sire Argentinus, a successful advanced class show jumper, managed to establish himself as a versatile hereditary transmitter of superb quality from an early age. His progeny are to be found everywhere, at mare shows, stallion approvals, in the dressage and show jumping sports and at federal championships. His best known offspring are i.a., Azarro/H. Wulschner, Autogramm 1/T. Miihlbauer and Adlantus As FRH / L. Nieberg on the show jumping course as well as Aleppo S-OLD and the former federal champion Amaretto (both with Isabell Werth) in the Grand Prix arena. The damsire Goldstern was one of the best Gotthard sons and presented inter alia, the Oldenburg approval winner Glorieux and numerous top show jumpers including i.a., Gipfelstiirmer / H. Hetzel. The grey horse Abraham injects another dose of Absatz blood into the pedigree. The great-grandam Anke II is a half-sister of the stallions Ramm (by Ramzes AA; private stallion Oldenburg) and Ulan (by Usurpator xx; private stallion Oldenburg, approval winner). The foundation mare Anke (by Burghard-Gograf-Gruson-Rheingold) was a successful advanced class show jumper. This bloodline moreover also produced the sire Ad Hoc (leased stallion Warendorf state stud).

Anchorman absolved his stallion performance test with an above average score in the jumping index in 2000. He won a number of show jumper classes at the elementary and intermediate levels in 2001 and came third in the federal German championship of five-year old show jumpers in Warendorf. He was moreover a placed competitor at the Federal Championship of 2002.
