My Eclipse

My Eclipse is a thoroughbred competition stallion (by Shaab) available for natural covering and artificial insemination. My Eclipse (bred by Mr T LeGrice and Mrs S Perkins) is the only thoroughbred stallion by Shaab standing in Cornwall. He is a quality horse with outstanding good looks and breeding.

He combines correct confirmation, extravagant and straight movement with a wonderful temperament. He has successfully competed at Intermediate level in British Horse Trials. His proven ability and lovely temperament make him an ideal sire to produce quality horses.

Sire - SHAAB (1975)
Winner of the King George V Cup in 1985/86 and runner up in 1987 at the HIS Stallion Show, Newmarket. An outstanding stallion that produced winners in every sphere. His progeny has excelled in eventing and include Mr Smiffy, winner of Burghley 2000, Shaabrak, winner of the British National Championships 2006 and 7th at Badminton in the same year, and Shaboo, Junior and Young Rider National Champion winner.

Dam - CORNISH SUMMER
Cornish Summer is by Vital Season, a winner on the flat and in National hunt and a sire of show jumpers and advanced event horses. Sire by Silly Season, a top class racehorse and stallion, running seven races on the flat including Champion Stakes at Newmarket.
