Keatinge Trakehners Stud - The KTS team consists primarily of me, Julie, and my eldest daughter Laura; our family, some close friends and not forgetting the most important thing of all - a wonderful herd of beautiful Trakehner horses.

Our stud is dedicated to the memory of my late mother, Valerie Keatinge; who possessed a passion for horses that lives on in both Laura and I.

We named our home after Clive Evans, my equally amazing dad, who died in 2007. Inspirational people, both very much missed and deserving so much credit for the standards that we strive to uphold.

Marked by our purchase of Fleetwater Valeska, Keatinge Trakehner Stud opened its stable doors in 2005 and, like most people that become associated with Trakehner horses, we soon became addicted to the breed!

With extremely high aspirations, we are totally dedicated to the breeding of world class horses. All our mares and stallions have been chosen with the utmost care paying particular attention to choice of bloodlines, assessing movement, confirmation and attitude to produce top quality breeding and competition Trakehner Horses for the world to enjoy..

Whilst all our horses each have their own stables, they spend as much time as possible out in the fields. They are fed on Baileys Horse Feeds, have a strict worming and farriery programme so that they are healthy and happy and in turn, therefore, producing the most fabulous foals.

We consider ourselves ‘small enough to handle ... yet big enough to count’ and devote all our time and energy to providing our horses with the ‘TLC’ they need to thrive, especially in those vitally important, early days... Please come and see for yourself, you are very welcome..
