Sadlers Rock takes the Goodwood Cup

Johnny Murtagh continued his impressive record at Goodwood yesterday as 2-1 favourite Saddler`s Rock landed the Artemis Goodwood Cup.

The 42-year-old is now 10 victories from 21 rides on the world famous course, beating Askar Tau by a length with Colour Vision in third.

It was the ideal way for the horse trained by John Oxx to bounce back after being defeated by Colour Vision at Royal Ascot.
