UK emerges largest exhibitor with a 50-strong group at Al Fares Dubai 2004

The United Kingdom has emerged as the largest group participating in Al Fares Dubai 2004, the fifth international equine trade fair, thereby endorsing Dubai's position as one of the leading centres for equestrian activities.

Two French Riders Topped the Meydan Open Riders World Ranking for FEI

Two French riders topped the Meydan Open Riders World Ranking for FEI year end results. Virginie Atger, who was ranked fifth in the world last year, topped the list in 2010 by just 14 points over fellow Frenchwoman Sarah Chakil. In 2010 Atger won a number of rides, including the CEI*** 160-km Sommant and 160-km Rambouillet in France. She also finished 10th in the World Endurance Championship in Lexington, Kentucky.

France, once again, showed their skill and sheer determination when each one of their finishing team members, Philippe Benoit, Virginie Atger and Pascale Dietsch, had final loop speeds of over 21.9kph. The host nation of Kazakhstan captured all the medals at the 2011 FEI Central Asian Endurance Championship staged in Talgar earlier this month.
