Eighteen - Sport Horse Sold
Eighteen is a sport horse mare who had the ability to excell in any equestrian sport, at High Offley Stud she competed in affiliated show jumping and dressage as well as being trained over cross country fences with some excellent success. After a successful start to her competition career Eighteen was sold to a local rider where she enjoy her time as an all-rounder.
Eighteen had an excellent pedigree; she was sired by our own Arturo 8, the holstein stallion who we imported from Germany to be competed by Geoff Glazzard. Arturo 8 had many excellent results in the show jumping ring with wins on both the county jumping circuit as well as internationally. Arturo 8 has also proven himself to be an excellent sire with many outstanding offspring competing in a variety of equestrian sports.
Arturo 8 is sired by the famous Athlet Z (Alme) out of the mare Wodka who was not only the mother of Arturo 8, but also the mother of Clearway and Conway both also international jumping stallions.
Dam of Eighteen in Dudeen a mare by the sport horse stallion Legaat, Dudeen is a proven broodmare with progeny that include Gentle Breeze a mare who was jumped by Derek Morton internationally and qualified for a number of young horse classes at the Horse of the year show.
