Sand Creek American Paint Horse Stud

Sand Creek American Paint Horse Stud is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Devon, 2 miles from the The Dartmoor national Park. Having bred palominos for many years, yet always having one or two black and white ( piebald) horses around. We decided to change our breeding programme to American Paint Horses our preference being loud black overos.

So here we are , a small, select, friendly stud producing overos. Our two black ( black/white) overo stallions, imported from the U.S.A. in 1998, have world champion bloodlines in their respected pedigrees, including Triples Titan, Sonny Dee Barr and Jetolito. Our band of brood mares are of exceptional quality and breeding, producing outstanding babies with superb temperaments, conformation and straight, extravagant action.

Visiting mares receive the best of care and attention and are pasture bred( the natural way) both stallions being well mannered with their mares and have proved to be 100% fertile. All mares are scanned in foal before returning home.

We are at present eagerly awaiting our 2004 foal crop , are on a shopping spree for 2 more quarter horse mares and a very special quarter horse stallion from the U.S.A.
