Saffron Cresswell and Rosie Qualified: Sandal BMW First Ridden Pony of the Year

When I qualified for HOYS we got up to go very early and went down the field to load Rosie (Marica Pandy Rose) and she loaded fine like she always does. For the first time ever my dad came with mum and myself to go to BSPS Winter Championships as it was a three-and-a-half hour journey. When we arrived I went and did a workers class on my other pony and came back to get on her. Yet, with me and mum being novices, we didn't know how to do the quarter marks so the lady in the lorry next door kindly offered to do them for us.

I reckon they were lucky quarter marks as that was the day I won, to qualify for the first time, and I had never done that class before! We got pulled in last and Rosie did a foot-perfect show. We didn't get the highest conformation score but out of the three people who drew with a total combination of marks, I had the highest show marks which gave me victory! The results were given in reverse order and after they had called out second place they very slowly said 7……………..I thought "it might be me" 2………………."but there is a girl next to me 72 something" 5…………………yes I've won, I've qualified for the first time ever!!! Brilliant and that is the story of how Rosie and me qualified for HOYS.
