Horse Lorries

Horse lorries are large vehicles used to transport horses around on the road systems, they are usally converted from a large truck or lorry chassis and have living quarters and horse areas attached to the back. They are also known as horseboxes and come in many different shapes and sizes from 3.5 tonne to 7.5 tonne in weight. In theory any large chassis can be turned into a horse lorry but some of the most popular choices are often Man, Renault and of course mercedes, one of the most renowned and rfeliable engine makers out there.
