British Pony Riders Unbeatable At CSIOP Lummen

The British Team of pony riders who travelled to CSIOP Lummen in Belgium last weekend were in unbeatable form winning the Nations Cup, Small Grand Prix and Grand Prix.

Both Great Britain and Holland finished on a total score of 8 faults but Britain’s time was slightly faster therefore taking the Team Gold Medal. Ireland finished in the Bronze Medal position.

The British team consisted of:-

Lance Whitehouse with Walmore Diamond Quest C 4
Sophie Heaven with Diamond Calypso C 4
Hannah Paul with Island Greengrass C C
Leanne Riley with Meadowcroft Minstrel C 4

Hannah Paul from St Albans won the Small Grand Prix with Island Greengrass with Gemma Plumley from Chepstow taking second place with Up & Coming.

The Grand Prix was won by sixteen year old Leanne Riley from Congleton, Cheshire with her father’s Meadowcroft Minstrel.
